Folly Beach is a few blocks wide, so you can park once and walk to all of this. Most of it is on or near Center Street.
Folly Beach restaurants and bars near the pier
- Koko's on the Pier, a tiki kitchen and bar at the foot of the fishing pier.
- Rita's Seaside Grille, at the foot of Center Street.
- The Crab Shack and Planet Follywood, both on Center Street.
Folly Beach spots a block off Center Street
- Chico Feo, an outdoor bar and kitchen on East Ashley Avenue with a surf report on its site.
- Jack of Cups Saloon, with a courtyard out back and plenty for vegans.
- Lost Dog Cafe, breakfast and lunch from 6:30 in the morning.
- Lowlife Bar and Taco Boy.
Need something at 3am? Bert's Market is open 24 hours, every day of the year.
Sand Dollar Social Club is closed for now. The Folly dive bar, open since 1981, closed in August 2026 after the building sold. The Post and Courier called the closing temporary. No reopening date has been published.
On the way to Folly Beach
Bowens Island Restaurant is just off Folly Road before the beach, at the end of its own island road. It has been a family fish camp since 1946.
