Charleston keeps its buildings low, so even a few floors up you can see the harbor and the steeples. These are the rooftops we could source.
Rooftop bars in downtown Charleston
- The Rooftop at The Vendue takes no reservations. Its site says City Paper readers have named it best rooftop bar every year since 2007.
- Citrus Club is on the eighth floor of The Dewberry hotel, which calls it the highest rooftop bar in Charleston.
- Revelry Brewing has a rooftop bar on top of its taproom.
- Charleston Crab House on Market Street has a roof that looks over the City Market.
Rooftops outside downtown Charleston
- Riva Mare, a rooftop Italian restaurant at the Navy Yard in North Charleston, opened in September 2026.
- The Boathouse at Breach Inlet on Isle of Palms has a rooftop bar over the inlet.
- Charleston Harbor Fish House in Mount Pleasant has a roof bar that faces the Charleston skyline.
A roof is only on this list when the place itself or a named source says it has one. If we missed yours, tell us.
